Mr. Mitchell served in the U.S. Air Force for 28 years. He retired from the USAF in 1966 as the D/Chief DEFSMAC. He returned to the Agency as a civilian and was assigned as the Chief, DEFSMAC, Chief W1, and D/Chief W until his civilian retirement in 1982. He had a total of 44 years of government service. He passed away on 2 August 2010.

Mr. George W. Morris passed away on February 5, 1997 at the age of 85. He was a former cryptanalyst in the Operations Organization at NSA. Prior to joining the Agency, Mr. Morris served with the U.S. Army. He retired in 1971 with 30 years of Federal service. He also enjoyed gardening and photography. He resided in Maine at the time of his death and was survived by his son.
