The NCF engaged with educators in March 2025 at the Common Ground conference in Ocean City, MD and presented a special session about digital safety which was well-received.

The NCF hosts two cybersecurity-focused podcasts - #CyberChats and Cyber Pulse. The #CyberChats podcast strives to educate people of all ages about personal data care, as well as cyber careers, skills, and pathways. Cyber Pulse is geared more toward our adult audience and explores the challenges that cyber professionals face as well as the strategies they use to safeguard our digital future. Both podcasts also feature a video format. Which one speaks to you?

Cryptologic & Cyber Dates in History

  • 19 April 1862: Confederate Signal Corps was established. The Confederate Signal Corps accomplished tactical and strategic communications for the warring armies, including electromagnetic telegraphy and aerial telegraphy ("wig-wag" signaling).
