NCF Participates in Hack the Railroad event - October 2024

The National Cryptologic Foundation participated in the Hack the Railroad event, held at the Technology Advancement Center in Columbia, Maryland, on October 23-24, 2024. This dynamic event brought together over 200 industry and government professionals to explore critical cybersecurity challenges in the transportation sector.

NCF Education Director Dr. Alisha Jordan and NCF Cyber Pulse Podcast Host Mr. James Walsh represented the NCF, engaging attendees in meaningful conversations about the Foundation's educational resources designed to integrate cybersecurity into student learning. They showcased tools such as the Outsmart Cyber Threats collection, the Cybersecurity Curriculum Guidelines (CCG), and interactive programs like Cyber Saturdays and the Ambassador Program.

This participation highlighted the NCF’s commitment to fostering collaboration between education and industry, equipping the next generation with the knowledge and skills to tackle evolving cybersecurity challenges. Attendees expressed enthusiasm for the Foundation’s initiatives, recognizing their value in building a robust cybersecurity pipeline.
