In August 2024, National Cryptologic Foundation Senior Training Advisor Darnell Washington attended the AFCEA (Armed Forces Communication and Electronics Association) TechNet Conference in Augusta, Georgia where he volunteered for the golf tournament and met with senior leadership from the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community on workforce development initiatives, especially within Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
