Future Partnerships and Education Program Expansion

NCF Exhibits at 2024 Summer Education Summits

During the summer of 2024, National Cryptologic Foundation (NCF) Education Director Dr. Alisha Jordan participated in various education conferences and summits in different regions of the U.S. The interactions and engagements at these conferences have paved the way for the NCF to explore partnerships with several school districts outside of Maryland, aiming to expand the Ambassador Program nationally. This initiative underscores the NCF's dedication to fostering cyber literacy and cybersecurity skills among students nationwide.

The goal of the NCF's Ambassador Program is to educate students on principles of cybersecurity through live instruction by a trained educator/expert who focuses on lessons and exercises in the NCF's "Outsmart Cyberthreats" or OC booklet. The NCF is proud to have inducted 75 student ambassadors as of the summer 2024. See the full summer 2024 update about the program

Through these efforts, Dr. Alisha Jordan and the NCF are making significant strides in empowering educators and students with the knowledge and resources necessary to navigate and thrive in an increasingly digital world.
