NCF Expands Educational Outreach Across South Carolina

On October 20–21, 2025, Dr. Alisha Jordan and Ms. Kishanna Harley represented the National Cryptologic Foundation (NCF) in Anderson, South Carolina, presenting to teachers, CTE directors, and district leadership from across South Carolina.

The two-day engagement focused on advancing cyber literacy and STEM integration within K–12 education statewide. Dr. Jordan and Ms. Harley shared an overview of the NCF’s signature education resources, including:

  • The Outsmart Cyberthreats (OC) booklet
  • The Escape Room in a Box learning experience
  • The NCF Student Ambassador Program

Together, they presented strategies for integrating the OC booklet’s cybersecurity concepts into core curricula, as well as helping educators empower students with essential digital awareness, critical thinking, and workforce readiness skills.

The presentation generated strong interest among South Carolina educators and district leaders eager to strengthen cyber and STEM pathways in their schools. This collaboration underscores the NCF’s commitment to expanding cybersecurity education access and impact across the Southeast region.
