Hyrum Mills is a distinguished cybersecurity leader and subject matter expert with over 24 years of experience, specializing in cryptographic systems and key management within the Defense and Intelligence sectors. As Director of Cyber Research at Two Six Technologies, he drives the development of advanced cybersecurity R&D programs, addressing critical challenges in the field. His extensive background includes significant contributions to cryptographic appliance implementation and certification, as well as the design and refinement of secure network management protocols. Notably, his work at the National Security Agency involved advanced security research and participation in international key management forums. With a strong foundation in enterprise security architecture and risk management, gained through leadership roles at MITRE, Northrop Grumman and L3Harris Technologies, Hyrum brings a deep understanding of the practical challenges and strategic imperatives of transitioning to Quantum Resistant Cryptography. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus in Security Informatics from Johns Hopkins University and is a CISSP-ISSEP.
