Mr. Shapiro is a Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP, and leads Quantum Cyber Readiness within Deloitte’s US Government & Public Services Cyber and Strategic Risk practice. He has over 15 years of experience in cyber and privacy risk services, including federal service as a cybersecurity and privacy attorney. He was a senior legal and policy advisor to the Chair of the Council of the Inspectors General for Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE) Information Technology, where he was responsible for multiple cross-government cyber-crime and emerging information technology policy oversight initiatives. He has also served as an advisor to cybersecurity startups. Mr. Shapiro received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, and B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park.
