Anne is a Distinguished Engineer in the IBM Infrastructure, Z Systems (Enterprise Server/Mainframe) Performance and Firmware organization, focusing on cryptographic technology development. She has over 20 years of experience as a development leader for the IBM Hardware Security Module product line and its IBM Common Cryptographic Architecture, which encompasses financial cryptographic services. Anne is the IBM Z Systems Cryptographic Technology architect with global IBM Z Systems responsibilities. Her mission is to define the best implementation and deployment strategy for cryptography on the Z Systems platform (spanning hardware, firmware, and operating systems) and to incorporate advances in emerging cryptographic technology.
She is currently leading a cross-platform development effort to leverage quantum-safe cryptography in Z Systems. She is a member of the NCCoE PQC Migration Working group, INCITS/Inclusive Terminology Technical Committee, and serves on the advisory board of the Charlotte Chapter of HOPE Worldwide.
Anne enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, strength training, taking long walks on the beach, and solving jigsaw puzzles.
