John M. Kelly
John Michael Kelly passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on September 8, 2023 at his home in Crofton, Maryland.
John was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Michael and Mary Kelly on August 9, 1939. He was predeceased by his daughter Maureen. He is survived by his wife Mary, his sons Patrick, William and James and by two grandchildren, John P. Kelly, Jr. and Anna Mairin Kelly. He is also survived by his brother William, of Dedham, Massachusetts and many nieces and nephews.
John was a senior executive at the National Security Agency, where he worked for 35 years, retiring in 1996.
Visitations for John will be held Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Crofton (1800 Seton Dr., Crofton MD) with interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Bowie (16501 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD).
