Thomas Floyd Milanowski, of Rehoboth, Delaware, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the age of 86.
Tom was a fun-loving genuine person with endless faith. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. In recent times, Tom’s most cherished moments were spent playing on the floor with his Great-Grandchildren, witnessing their dances, ball games and watching them grow. Tom was a great dancer. He loved to “cut the rug”. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, violin, ukulele, and the harmonica. He had a passion for drawing and loved country music. He was a great chess player. He loved all types of puzzles. Tom was a math enthusiast. His true compassion and concern for all life was empowering.
Tom was a patriot; he served his country as a medic in the U.S. Army. After dedicating 27 years to the National Security Agency, he retired.
Tom is survived by his wife of 63 years, Donna Mae Milanowski. They had three children: William Christopher Milanowski (wife, Rebecca Lynn); and their daughters Sarah Ann Schofield; and Cynthia Lynn Velez.
Tom had seven grandchildren: William Christopher Milanowski II (wife, Colleen Kay); Stephanie Marie Morales (husband, Brian Anthony); Luis (Ozzie) Velez Jr.; Troy Thomas Schofield; Thomas Michael Velez; Nathan C. Velez; and Brianna Macklin. He also had ten great-grandchildren: Abigail Lynn Milanowski, Aliyah Marie Morales, Angelyna Briana Morales, Athena M.
