In Memoriam Registry Honoree Pages

Thomas F. O'Brien, a former employee in the Inspector General's Office, died July 28, 1997 of cancer at the age of 84.

Mr. O'Brien graduated from American University. Prior to joining a predecessor of NSA, he served with the State Department and then with the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired in 1970 with 31 years of federal service.

A native of Warren, RI, Mr. O'Brien resided in Sherwood Forest, MD and Punta Gorda, FL. He was an active member of the Rotary Club, the Isles Yacht Club, and the Isles Civic Association. Mr. O'Brien was survived by his wife, a son, two daughters, and four grandchildren.
