Sally Lou Keil, NSA 1963-1995, died on February 11, 2009, nine days shy of her sixty-eighth birthday. She was a resident at Copper Ridge in Sykesville, an Alzheimer's care facility, from 2006 until her death. She and her long-time companion, Paul Bridge, NSA 1960-1994, a Phoenix Society member, lived at the Fairhaven Continuing Care Retirement Center.

Sally, a 1963 University of Pittsburgh graduate, worked in several Agency organizations. She had a PCS in Australia in the mid seventies, was an Armed Forces Staff College student, and had an assignment in the Pentagon. Her last assignment was as editor of the NSA Newsletter.

Before her illness, Sally and Paul fully enjoyed retirement--travel to Australia, New Zealand, England, a Caribbean cruise, as well as season series subscriptions to opera, plays, and symphonies.

She is also survived by her brother Walter "Skip" Keil and his family in Pittsburgh, and her sister Rebecca "Becky" Rettig and her family in Duncansville, PA.
