The exponential growth in malicious cyber incidents combined with the increasing dependence on technology-enabled solutions has created the perfect environment for both mischief and productivity. Balancing the use of technology while managing the risks associated with it is the challenge, and the need for more cybersecurity professionals is clear. 

Early identification and exposure to cybersecurity careers is key to attracting those who might otherwise have not considered such a career. The onus is on all of us to identify talent and interest, and provide the best academic and hands-on experiences to quickly address the need for more cybersecurity professionals.
