In March 2025, the National Cryptologic Foundation (NCF) participated in the National STEM Festival, sponsored by Booz Allen Hamilton, where cybersecurity education took center stage. Surrounded by some of the brightest young minds and dedicated STEM professionals, the NCF contributed to important conversations about equipping students with the tools they need to thrive in a digital world.

Dr. Alisha Jordan, Director of Education at NCF, served as a featured speaker, sharing practical, hands-on resources for cybersecurity education. Her remarks emphasized the importance of early exposure to cyber concepts as a foundation for digital literacy, responsible online behavior, and long-term career readiness. She also highlighted the NCF’s commitment to building meaningful learning experiences that are engaging, equitable, and aligned with workforce needs.

This message aligns directly with the NCF’s mission to foster cyber literacy and workforce development through accessible and student-centered programming. Events like the National STEM Festival reinforce the power of collaboration between education and industry in shaping the next generation of digital defenders, innovators, and problem-solvers.

The NCF extends sincere thanks to Booz Allen Hamilton and all participating partners for making this event possible—and for creating space for students to engage, explore, and lead in STEM fields.

As the Foundation continues its work across classrooms, afterschool programs, and national events, it remains focused on closing the gap between education and opportunity in the cybersecurity landscape.
