NCF Education Director Dr. Alisha Jordan at Scout Day 2025 at the National Cryptologic Museum
On Saturday, March 1, 2025, the National Cryptologic Foundation (NCF) had the incredible opportunity to engage with young minds at Scout Day, hosted at the National Cryptologic Museum (NCM). It was an action-packed day filled with curiosity, challenges, and an exciting deep dive into the world of cybersecurity.
From the moment students approached our table, their enthusiasm was electric. They were eager to explore the NCF’s educational resources, uncover new pathways into cybersecurity careers, and test their critical thinking skills with our interactive activities.
Riddles, puzzles, and cryptographic challenges kept them engaged, pushing them to think like true problem-solvers. It was inspiring to watch their faces light up as they cracked codes, solved puzzles, and unlocked the secrets of cybersecurity.
The NCF is committed to empowering the next generation of digital defenders. Events like Scout Day provide a fantastic platform to spark curiosity, introduce students to the endless possibilities of cybersecurity, and help them develop the skills they need for the future.
We can't wait to continue this journey, bringing more hands-on learning experiences to students everywhere. Stay tuned for more exciting events and opportunities to get involved with NCF.
