NCF Represents at CYBER.ORG EdCon ’25 in Chicago

In June 2025, Dr. Alisha Jordan (NCF Director of Education) and Kishanna Harley (NCF Education Program Coordinator) proudly represented the National Cryptologic Foundation at CYBER.ORG’s EdCon ’25 in Chicago—a vibrant convening of educators, technologists, and thought leaders committed to advancing K–12 cybersecurity education.

Dr. Jordan and Ms. Harley led a well-received breakout session titled “Unlocking NCF Resources,” spotlighting how the NCF is making cybersecurity education accessible and impactful for students and communities nationwide. The session introduced educators to several of the NCF’s most requested resources:

  • Cybersecurity Escape Room in a Box – Promotes critical thinking and online safety through hands-on collaboration
  • Cyber Saturday Events – Immersive, student-centered experiences offering real-world exposure to cyber careers
  • Student Ambassador Program – A national network empowering youth to lead cyber literacy efforts in their schools
  • Outsmart CyberThreats Student Booklet – Engaging activities that teach students to navigate online threats safely
  • Adult Cybersecurity Literacy Booklet – A new AI-enhanced resource that extends cyber learning beyond the classroom
  • #CyberChats Podcast – Real stories from diverse cybersecurity professionals that spark interest and reveal career pathways

Educators left the session energized by the scalable, no-tech-needed resources designed to meet learners where they are—regardless of background, grade level, or technical skill.

As Dr. Jordan shared, “Cybersecurity education isn’t a niche subject—it’s essential. And through collaboration, we can make it possible for every student, everywhere, to thrive in the digital world.”

Thank you to CYBER.ORG for hosting such a thoughtful and impactful event and to every educator leading the way toward a more cyber-aware future.
