The National Cybersecurity Federally Funded Research and Development Center (NCF), managed by The MITRE Corporation, is a research center dedicated to cybersecurity. The organization is tasked with helping our nation's business and critical infrastructures improve their cybersecurity and protect their information.

15 May 1942: President Roosevelt signs bill into law, creating the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC), the women's branch of the United States Army. In July 1943, it became the Women's Army Corps (WAC).
