About this Event
COVID may not allow you to come to the NCM, but now we're coming to you! Join us for virtual tours with the same staff and docents you always see. No masks necessary! Register to attend via the EventBrite link below.
Tours will be on selected topics, including the German Enigma, the U.S. Navy Cryptanalytic Bombe, Native American Code Talkers, the Battle of Midway, the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, and more. Sign up for as many tours as you wish. We'll email you instructions on how to join the tour on Zoom when you register. Hurry! Reservations are limited. 19 April 1862: Confederate Signal Corps was established. The Confederate Signal Corps accomplished tactical and strategic communications for the warring armies, including electromagnetic telegraphy and aerial telegraphy ("wig-wag" signaling).
