William Smith
Bill Smith is a Principal Engineer at GE Research and has worked with many current and former GE businesses – including critical infrastructure, avionics, healthcare, transportation, media, and military / aerospace. Bill leads much of the product security research activities associated with a variety of GE embedded products and is currently the PI on the DARPA Guaranteed Architectures for Physical Security (GAPS) program focused on next generation tactical cross domain solutions. He is also leading our activities related to the adoption of post quantum cryptography and CNSA 2.0 within GE Aerospace. Bill has an undergrad and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from RPI in Troy, NY.
