Convening to Act

Margaret Salter is director of Applied Cryptography, and leads the Protocols, Algorithms and Libraries team at AWS. Prior to joining AWS, Margaret led Cryptography teams at Walt Disney Company and RBC, and most notably spent 34 years at the National Security Agency (NSA), culminating with her position as the Technical Director in the Information Assurance Directorate (IAD), where she led the strategy within NSA to use commercial solutions for the protection of classified data.
