In Memoriam Registry Honorees

Bonnie L. Hohenberger (nee Dorsey passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009.

Bonnie worked for the National Cryptologic Museum Foundation for several years until she was forced to retire due to advanced COPD. Prior to joining the Foundation staff she served two years as a National Cryptologic Museum receptionist. She spent her last few years at home regaining her health and enjoying her grandchildren. She was doing well, regained some of her lung capacity, and didn't have to use oxygen 24-7. In late September while vacationing at her favorite resort, The Golden Sands, in Ocean City, she caught a cold that turned into pneumonia. Due to the COPD she was unable to fight it.

Bonnie was the beloved wife of the late Mr. George Edward Hohenberger, Jr.; loving mother of Jessie Sullivan, George Hohenberger III, and Kurt Hohenberger and his wife Jolene; adored grandmother of Amanda Williams, Christina Williams, Erika Hohenberger, Kelsie Hohenberger and Michael Sullivan; dear friend of Diana and Bob St. Claire, and Cheryl and Darwin Keeter; and was beloved by numerous other friends and relatives.

Sponsored for the In Memoriam Registry by NCM & NCMF friends and associates, and the Center for Cryptologic History.
