1993: National Cryptologic Museum opened to NSA/CSS personnel, their families, & to other members of Intelligence Community.

Thursday, July 13, 2023

In July 1993 the National Cryptologic Museum was first opened to NSA employees and their families, and to other members of the intelligence community. Although this opening was a bit quiet, the initial months were used to fine-tune exhibits and to get used to giving tours and answering questions. The public opening in December 1993 received great media interest and attendance boomed!
