The National Cryptologic Foundation welcomes two cybersecurity leaders to its Board of Directors: Dr. Radica Sipcic and Mr. Siraaj Hasan. “These appointments bring exceptional talent at a critical time,” said NCF President and CEO Laura Nelson. “Both leaders will help advance our mission to strengthen K-12 cyber education and protect national security through public-private collaboration as we shape the future of artificial intelligence and quantum computing.”
Dr. Sipcic is an Oracle executive with over 20 years of experience leading digital modernization and cybersecurity initiatives across the Intelligence Community and the Defense sector. A former university professor with a PhD from MIT in applied mathematics, she champions STEM education and cyber literacy as vital to national security. “Ensuring that every citizen is cyber and AI literate is critical to our national security, and I’m committed to advancing this work with our partners,” said Dr. Sipcic.
Mr. Hasan leads Booz Allen Hamilton’s U.S. Cyber Command portfolio, where he leverages AI technology and solutions in support of full-spectrum cyber operations and training programs for America’s military cyber forces. Beyond his 27-year corporate career, he has
dedicated 20 years to youth education as the co-founder of his non-profit, the Sound Mind, Sound Body Foundation, and nine years to civic leadership on D.C.’s Advisory Neighborhood Commission. “Stepping into this Board role, I am deeply committed to cultivating the next generation of cyber defenders. The NCF’s mission plays a pivotal role in strengthening our nation’s resilience against evolving global threats,” said Mr. Hasan.
