Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Walisa Sabb is a military spouse, proud mother of five, and grandmother of one. She earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, an MBA from Hampton University, and a master’s in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University. Walisa has spent the past 20 years in education, teaching for 12 years in Savannah, GA, before moving to Stafford, Virginia, where she has taught for the past eight years. She currently teaches cybersecurity and computer sciences courses at North Stafford High School, and has served as an AP Cybersecurity pilot teacher for the past three years. Walisa is passionate about preparing students for careers in technology by fostering critical thinking, technical skills, and a love of lifelong learning. She also enjoys supporting fellow educators as they implement innovative computer science and cybersecurity programs.
