Charlene Cooper is the Director of CYBER.ORG, the academic division of the Cyber Innovation Center, where she leads national efforts to expand K–12 cybersecurity, AI and STEM education. In this role, Charlene oversees strategic vision, partnerships, curriculum development, and workforce-development initiatives that empower educators and prepare the next generation of cyber-ready students. A National Board Certified Teacher, Charlene brings more than 20 years of experience as a public-school educator, instructional coach, and curriculum leader. Her background spans science, STEM, and cybersecurity instruction, along with coaching teachers to elevate instructional practice and strengthen student outcomes. Charlene holds a master’s degree in educational leadership, a cyber education graduate certificate from Louisiana Tech University, and is CompTIA Security+ certified. She is passionate about continuous learning, collaboration, and expanding access to high-quality cybersecurity education. When she’s not working, Charlene enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
