On Thursday, March 5th, 2026, NCF Education Director Dr. Alisha Jordan and NCF Education Coordinator Kishanna Harley visited students at the Global Impact Academy, a STEM Magnet school in Fairburn, GA. The NCF staffers had the opportunity to speak with Ms. Tiffany Jones’s Intro and Advanced Cybersecurity classes about the NCF’s mission and the field of cybersecurity, including answering student questions about careers and educational opportunities.
Dr. Jordan and Ms. Harley toured the campus and met with administrators, including the principal, Mr. Hall. Discussions are underway about this campus being an ideal location for a second Cyber Saturday in Georgia, which would also involve the metro Atlanta area.
On Friday, March 6th, 2026, Dr. Jordan, Ms. Harley, and NCF volunteer Dr. Rita visited Ms. Gethers’ fourth-graders at
Chesney Elementary School in Duluth, GA. Students were asked questions about their digital footprint and enjoyed answering questions and solving riddles. Some students were quoted as saying, “I’m mad, but this was fun.” Likely referring to not being able to solve every riddle! Students were already well-versed with the Outsmart Cyberthreats booklets and enjoyed the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and engage further with the material and with NCF staff.
