Atlanta, Georgia – August 2025
In August 2025, the National Cryptologic Foundation (NCF), in partnership with the Maryland STEM Fest, proudly brought Cyber Feud to the 2025 Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA) National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia (Aug 14-16). This exciting competition featured two dynamic teams with participants representing BDPA clubs from across the United States.
The event was hosted by the NCF Senior Training Advisor Darnell Washington, who kept the energy high and the competition engaging. Competitors went head-to-head through five rounds of intense questions focused on core cyber and cybersecurity concepts and principles, showcasing both their knowledge and quick thinking.
NCF Director of Education, Dr. Alisha Jordan, attended the event alongside Renaldo St. James, NCF Marketing & Communications Specialist, to support the teams and connect with participants. Dr. Jordan opened the Cyber Feud with brief remarks, highlighting the mission and vision of the NCF and reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to preparing the next generation of cyber leaders.
In addition to Cyber Feud, the NCF also hosted an exhibitor table to connect with attendees and share the Foundation’s wide range of cyber/cybersecurity education resources.
This collaboration with BDPA provided an incredible platform to inspire and engage students while expanding awareness of the NCF’s resources and programs.
