Joseph S. Gorman retired in 1990 as senior executive for the Department of Defense at Fort Meade, MD. He died in August 2005. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Gorman, a Navy veteran of the Korean War where he was an aerographer, came to Florida in 1990 from Laurel, MD. He was a past commander for Mantanza’s River Yacht Club and member of the Palm Coast Yacht Club. He was a graduate of Villanova University. Mr. Gorman enjoyed golf, travel and reading.
