In addition to celebrating 30 years of our mission, we will honor the legacy of the late Lt. Gen. Kenneth Minihan, salute founder & first Board Chairman Maj. Gen. John E. Morrison, Jr., and recognize our dedicated founding board members, staff, and volunteers. Don’t miss this special occasion—be part of the celebration!
Back in the 1990s, Maj. Gen. Morrison aspired to establish an organization to provide ongoing support for the National Cryptologic Museum. In 1996, Lt. Gen. Minihan, then director at the National Security Agency, endorsed Maj. Gen. Morrison’s vision to create the National Cryptologic Museum Foundation where Morrison became the first Chairman of the Board.
Lt. Gen. Minihan went on to champion the Foundation’s evolving mission and vision. After his retirement, he continued to be a strong supporter and leader of the NCF, serving as Chairman of the Capital Campaign for the Cyber Center for Education and Innovation and Chairman of the Founders Group. His dedication never wavered—he served as a board member right up until his passing in November 2025.
