Click on Add New History and name the page – For Honorees you do not need to add the birth/death dates because that will get added elsewhere.
At the very top of the custom fields, there is a field for Sortable Name – use this if you want the feed order to be something other than the publish date.
- It’s important to note that anywhere you are selecting Categories and Tags (see below), you can choose multiple. For example, if a Trailblazer is also a Commemorate Honoree, then you can use “Cryptologic Bytes, Trailblazer AND Commemorate”. This one single history post can then show up in all three category feeds without having to be duplicated.
- You aren’t required to fill in all custom fields, just the ones that are relevant for the content you are adding – if you leave a custom field blank it won’t show up in the header
1. Adding an new Commemorate Post
Select the Commemorate Category, add appropriate tags and upload the honoree’s headshot.
Complete the custom fields. This is where these custom fields will appear. Sortable name is how we can order the grids alphabetically.
Delete the empty row, then refer to HOW TO USE ROW TEMPLATES.
2. Adding an new Crypto Bytes Post
Select the Cryptologic Bytes Category, add appropriate tags and upload the feature image.

For many Crypto Bytes posts, the short description (in the header) should be all that you need, so you can just publish the post.

Delete the empty row, then refer to HOW TO USE ROW TEMPLATES.
