Aaron Faulkner is an ICIT Fellow and co-founder of Tychon, a platform focused on automated cryptography discovery, inventory, and post-quantum readiness. His work centers on helping organizations understand and manage cryptographic risk across complex enterprise environments as they prepare for the transition to quantum-resistant security. A recognized voice on post-quantum cryptography and emerging technology risk, Aaron advises government and private sector leaders on the operational challenges of quantum-era cybersecurity and the systemic risks associated with cryptographic exposure across critical infrastructure and national security systems. Aaron brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of technology, national security, and public policy.
Prior to co-founding Tychon, he served as Cyber Practice Lead at Accenture Federal Services, where he was responsible for cybersecurity strategy and delivery across major federal missions and for launching the firm’s first global post-quantum cryptography business unit. His work has supported large-scale cybersecurity and technology modernization initiatives across the U.S. Department of War, the Intelligence Community, federal civilian agencies, and commercial enterprises.
