Program Overview

Cyber Saturday is an annual event from the NCF Education Program in partnership with the Technology Advancement Center (TAC), designed to inspire and equip youth with essential cybersecurity knowledge. Aimed at students aged 10–16, this full-day experience introduces real-world cyber skills in a fun, hands-on environment.

Participants, including parents and guardians, rotate through interactive stations featuring escape room–style challenges, cyber trivia, and the NCF CyberSmart Challenge. With guidance from cybersecurity professionals and law enforcement leaders, students explore online safety, ethical hacking, password protection, and more. Each attendee also receives their own Cyber Safety Booklet to reinforce lessons at home or in the classroom.

The inaugural Cyber Saturday was held in June 2023 at the DreamPort Facility in Columbia, MD. Based on overwhelmingly positive response and demand, the program is expanding to reach even more students nationwide in 2025.
