Join the NCF in the virtual classroom for a #CyberChat
Through a virtual classroom platform, the National Cryptologic Foundation (NCF) offers educational courses and cybersecurity chats (#CyberChats) designed to promote cybersecurity education and prepare job seekers for opportunities in the cybersecurity field. Our Chats often focus on topics related to the High School Cybersecurity Curriculum Guidelines' "Big Ideas."
We are excited to have a presence within the Nepris online education community. Nepris connects teachers and students with industry experts in live online chats that may involve virtual field trips, Q&A with experts, project mentoring, topic discussions, project evaluations, and more. Using Nepris, students and teachers can request a Chat focused on a particular topic. The NCF then partners with experts and organizations to help meet these requests. The sessions are highly interactive and bring relevance into the classroom, introduce students to role models, and inspire them toward careers they may never have known about or thought were unattainable.
How to Attend: To attend one of our #CyberChats via Nepris or to watch a recording of a prior Chat, you must first have a Nepris account. You can easily register for a free Nepris account. The NCF also periodically hosts Chats via our own Zoom webinar or meeting capability. To attend a Zoom Chat, stay tuned for registration information related to an upcoming Chat. Find links to prior Chats included below.
Share Your Cyber Expertise - Present a Chat: We welcome cyber professionals and experts to share their knowledge and expertise with K-12 students, educators, and parents in a virtual setting. Visit the "SHARE YOUR CYBER EXPERTISE" page to learn more and sign up for this rewarding opportunity!
