The National Cryptologic Museum is always coming up with new and exciting exhibits, or finding ways to enhance existing exhibits. From Revolutionary Secrets to the NSA's 60th Anniversary, to the upgraded Enigma exhibit, to the Cyber exhibit and more. Here we feature some of the recent exhibits and displays.
Information Assurance (IA) is defined by Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8500.01E as "measures that protect and defend information and information systems by ensuring their availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation." When you visit the NCM you will see examples of many of the techniques used for IA, starting with "paper and pencil." Examples of equipment used dating back to President Thomas Jefferson can be previewed here.
Included in this section of our Web site is a growing collection of videos featuring the National Cryptologic Museum, as well as many that highlight specific exhibits at the NCM. You can also find these videos and others on our YouTube page.
