ober 17 - 18\, 2019. The Symposium will be held at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laborator
y's Kossiakoff Center in Laurel\, Maryland. Following the Symposium on
Saturday October 19th\, attendees will be given an opportunity to tour th
e National Cryptologic Museum and participate in a workshop on researching
cryptologic history sources.\n\nTHEME & PROGRAM\nThe theme for the
2019 Symposium on Cryptologic History is 'From Discovery to Discourse.' S
ince 1990\, the Symposium on Cryptologic History has served as an opportun
ity to present historical discoveries found in unclassified and declassifi
ed Intelligence Community records and engage in scholarly discussion about
their significance to cryptologic history. The 2019 Symposium program off
ers over 20 educational sessions led by over 65 speakers. Topics include c
ryptologic history related to World War I and II\, the Cold War\, communic
ations security\, cyberspace and technology\, international and diplomatic
relations\, counterintelligence and espionage\, declassification and publ
ic engagement\, and more. For more information\, check out the Preliminary
Program via the link below.\n\nREGISTRATION\nThe registration rate
is $70/day ($140 for the full program). The student rate is $35/day ($70
for the full program). Registration includes a light continental breakfast
\, lunch\, and afternoon snacks. Sessions on Saturday\, October 19th are f
ree for those who register for one\, or both\, days at the Kossiakoff Cent
er.\n\nRegistration is available online - see red REGISTER NOW button on t
