Smithsonian publishes beautiful pictures of rare Hebern encryption machines

In March 2020, Von Klaus Schmeh wrote an article for the Scienceblogs.de Klausis Crypto Kolume about the Hebern encryption machines and a new opportunity to see images of the rare machines from the Smithsonian. The Smithsonian recently released nearly three million images to the public domain - a collection that includes a vast number of cryptology related photos and of special interest were some beautiful and rare images of the Hebern machine.
