Congratulations to the 2022 MD History Day Contest NCF Special Award Recipients

2022 MD History Day

Each year the National Cryptologic Foundation (NCF) sponsors special awards for students participating in the Maryland History Day competition. For the 2022 competition, the NCF presented the Eugene J. Becker Award for Excellence in Cybersecurity and Cryptology and the Major General John E. Morrison Award for Innovation.

The theme for the 2022 competition was "Debate & Diplomacy in History: Successes, Failures, Consequences." The competition was held virtually on April 30th. Students submitted projects, papers, and presentations and the award ceremony was held virtually on 1 May. The National History Day competition will be held in June.

As always, the Maryland History Day competition featured creative, inspiring, and talented young minds. The NCF was honored to present these special awards to the winners.
