Holiday Season Memories - NSA Building Messages
During the holiday season in the late 1960s, the National Security Agency lit up the Headquarters Building to spell words in keeping with the theme of the season. Someone laid out the window design, and employees of each office were instructed about whether or not to leave their lights on or off, accordingly. Someone went outside to check the window alignment and make sure all the designated windows were correctly illuminated. The messages included words like HOPE, NOEL, and JOY.
Wishing you a peaceful holiday season, filled with hope and joy.
