Since its creation in 1996 The National Cryptologic Museum Foundation has steadily expanded the types of direct mission support provided to the National Cryptologic Museum. The Foundation strives to use its limited resources to grow the National Cryptologic Museum and the Library in size and holdings, help promote cryptology through expanding educational support, and to present the accomplishments and preserve the legacy of the men and women, military and civilian, who have served with honor and distinction in the cryptologic profession.
The Foundation's staff and operating committees provide support to both the day-to-day operation of the Museum and Library, and to a variety of special annual and periodic programs hosted by the Museum and the National Security Agency's Center for Cryptologic History.
