The Foundation is almost totally dependent on volunteers to accomplish its mission of providing support for the National Cryptologic Museum. Except for three salaried employees who make up the office staff, all officers including the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the President, the Treasurer, and the Secretary, as well as committee chairpersons and committee members are volunteers. Funding for the Foundation’s operating budget comes from membership dues, donations and the proceeds from an annual golf tournament sponsored by the Eagle Alliance group. Membership dues are the principal source of operating revenue, which is why we place so much emphasis on membership, recruitment and renewal.
The most effective way to help the Foundation is by becoming a member, and if you are already a member, by volunteering to serve on one of our committees or helping to maintain our website or contributing to our publications. To learn more about the work of the Foundation, please contact us via E-mail at cryptmf@aol.com or by phone at 301-688-5436. We welcome your ideas and suggestions and invite you to visit us at our office in the National Cryptologic Museum.
